1 cup wheatflour
1 cup oats
¾ cup white flour
1 egg
1 banana (mashed)
2 tsp baking powder
¼ cup brown sugar
½ tsp salt
½ baking soda
2 cups
2-tbsp oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
Method
Grind the oats to a coarse flour and in a bowl whisk the oats, flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
Take another bowl and whisk the oil, vanilla extract, egg and milk together. Add in the mashed banana. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes.
Heat a pan and when hot enough, add a ladle of batter onto the pan. Once bubbles form and the edges are dry, flip the pancake.

Ever thought about opening the door of your car from your phone just like James Bond does? Well, General Motors, Holden’s parent company has now launched a new iPhone app that could replace the car key.
It can already warn of parking officers, order your groceries and boost your share portfolio.
General Motors is working on an app for the iPhone and rival Google phone for some of its cars sold in the United States.
The phone application will allow drivers to activate all of the traditional key fob features, including unlocking the doors and opening the boot.
There will also be a remote start function that could prove handy for warming up the car on those colder mornings (or cooling it down during summer), and if you forget where you parked you can set off your car”s horn and lights at the touch of a button so it can alert you to its location.
The app, which is set to be available within a few months, will also display a vehicle “health report”, which will include info such as fuel range, oil life, tyre pressures as well as a lifetime breakdown of average fuel economy for the car.
However, the app will only be available in the US, Canada and China, with buyers of Chevrolet, Cadillac, Buick and GMC expected to be able to control their car from their phone within a few months.
Glenn McGrath and fiancée Sara Leonardi are leaning towards an Italian wedding, according to sources. Sources say that Leonardi is eyeing a traditional Italian ceremony and McGrath, too, is keen to take the nuptials offshore in an effort to minimize the media hysteria around the event.
“Sara has a lot of friends in South Africa while Glenn has friends in England, so the thinking is that Italy is a nice, happy medium,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a friend as saying.
Leonardi’s parents, who recently visited Oz, are also based in Sicily. However, McGrath’s manager Warren Craig said that a location had not been locked in.
“To be honest I haven’t had a chance to sit down and talk to him about wedding plans. I don’t think they have thought beyond the engagement,” Craig said.
Meanwhile, reports say McGrath could get offers upwards of $200,000 from tabloid magazines for the rights of his wedding. The legendary bowler hasn’t struck a deal with any magazine yet and instead chose to confirm his engagement to the Sunday press for free.
